$2.4-million Point Grey tear-down house!!




An 86-year-old, 2,000 square-foot house in Vancouver’s Point Grey neighbourhood has just been put on the market for $2.4 million.

The house is located at 4453 West 14th Avenue on a 33 by 122-foot plot within walking distance to Lord Byng Secondary, Queen Elizabeth Elementary, and 10th Avenue shopping. It also comes with mountain views.

The three-bedroom interior has some minor updates, but by and large the home is in disrepair and could use a major renovation.

The property was recently assessed at $2,145,500, with the building valued at only $45,000. That is a 21% increase from its July 2014 assessment of $1,759,800.

Any interested buyers can see the house in person next week at an open house on Tuesday, February 2 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
